Ecstatic Dance Knoxville
Two hours of freestyle dance in the main room on the fourth Saturday of every month. No steps to learn and no partner needed. A DJ builds the music from slow to peak and back down, and you move however you want.

How it works
Doors open a little before 7. Shoes come off at the door, and the floor is padded, so bare feet or socks are comfortable. There is no instruction. You can dance all out, sway in a corner, or lie down and listen. It is a substance-free, judgment-free room, and everyone is welcome at any age or experience level.
Who comes
Studio regulars, first-timers, and people who have never taken a yoga class. Come alone or bring friends. Knoxville's ecstatic dance community has met here for years.
