New students
Is my first class really free?
Yes. Any class on the schedule. Claim it with the First Class FREE button, which creates your WellnessLiving account, then book the class you want.
Which class should I take first?
Power Lunch at 12:15pm on weekdays is all levels and the friendliest introduction to how we teach. If you want something gentle, Slow Flow, Twilight Yin, Restorative and Breathwork are the easiest. The Signature classes and Power 75 are strenuous but open to most levels, so come when you're ready for a workout.
What do I bring?
A mat and water. If you forget your mat, we keep a few you can borrow.
How early should I arrive?
The front desk opens 15 minutes before each class, so 10 to 15 minutes early is ideal for a first visit.
Where do I park and which door do I use?
Free parking on site at 516 Renford Rd. Look for the white building with the Renegade Yoga logo painted on the wall; the entrance is the black door up the wooden steps beside it.
I'm not flexible. Will I be able to keep up?
You do not need to be flexible to start. Flexibility comes with practice. Every teacher gives options, and hands-on adjustments are how we help you find the pose your body can do today.
Booking and the schedule
How do I book a class?
Online through WellnessLiving, the studio's booking system. The Book a Class button on the schedule takes you there. Booking, waitlisting and cancelling a booking all happen there.
Do I need to book in advance?
For regular classes it helps but isn't required; they hold up to 30. Aerial classes hold eight and fill up, so book those ahead.
Does the schedule change?
The weekly timetable is steady; teachers rotate. The calendar on the home page shows this week, and WellnessLiving always has the exact lineup.
Are classes heated?
No. Renegade is not a hot yoga studio.
Memberships and pricing
What are the four memberships?
Signature Unlimited, $130 a month, covers every class. Essentials, Restore and Aerial Unlimited are $88 a month each and cover only their own class family. One membership per person. Full details on the pricing page.
What do drop-ins cost?
Signature $30, Essentials $20, Restore $10, Aerial $15, pop-up classes $10.
Do you sell class packs?
Yes: 5 Signature classes for $125, 10 for $250, 12 for $300.
How do I cancel a membership?
Email info@renegadeyoga.com. Cancellations need 30 days' notice.
Can I pause my membership?
Yes. Freezes need no notice; email info@renegadeyoga.com.
Do you give refunds?
Not in cash. The amount becomes a credit toward a future visit.
Aerial yoga
Do I need to be strong or flexible to try aerial yoga?
No. The hammock takes part of your weight, which makes many poses easier than on the floor. Anti-Gravity 60 is open to all levels and most first-timers manage a supported inversion in their first class.
What should I wear?
A clean t-shirt with sleeves and leggings that cover the backs of the knees. The fabric grips bare skin, so sleeves and full-length leggings keep you comfortable. Leave jewelry, zips and belts at home, and skip body lotion that day.
How many people are in an aerial class?
Eight. Each person has their own rigged hammock, so classes fill up. Book ahead.
Is there anyone who should not do aerial yoga?
Check with your doctor first if you are pregnant, have had recent surgery, or have glaucoma, uncontrolled high blood pressure, vertigo or an inner-ear condition. Inversions are always optional and your teacher will give you an alternative.
Events
What events do you run?
Two monthly sound baths, a monthly ecstatic dance, The Zen Out Workshop every other Sunday, and occasional trainings like the Rocket immersion. See events.
Are events included in memberships?
Events are ticketed separately: The Zen Out Workshop $15, sound baths $25, Ecstatic Dance $20.
Teacher training
What trainings do you offer?
A 200-hour ($3,500, 12 months) and a 300-hour ($5,500, 18 months), both one weekend a month with Philip Clift, both Yoga Alliance registered. The next cohort begins June 2027.
Are there payment plans?
Yes: two payments, or $375 a month over the length of the program.
Is there a Rocket training?
Yes, the Misfit Yogis 30-hour Rocket Yoga Immersion, November 6 to 8, 2026: $575, $475 for returning Rocket trainees, with $50 and $65 master-class drop-ins. Details on the Rocket page.
Private sessions and the studio
Do you do private or group sessions?
Yes. A private group session is $100, scheduled with the studio. Email info@renegadeyoga.com with what you have in mind.
Can I reach a person?
Text or call (865) 229-6420 or email info@renegadeyoga.com. The number is answered by the studio's assistant, and anything it can't handle goes to a person.
